2. Core Material Standards

2.1 Top Non-woven Fabric

12–18gsm hydrophilic PP cloth, no holes/stains, penetration ≤1s, no fluorescence.

Check water absorption, flatness & tensile strength on delivery.

2.2 ADL Layer

18–25gsm thermo-bond fabric, even liquid dispersion, no breakage during cutting.

For mid & high-end baby/adult diapers.

2.3 Fluff Pulp

Virgin softwood pulp only, no recycled pulp. Free of mildew, lumps & impurities.

Check fluffiness and uniform white color upon receiving.

2.4 SAP Absorbent Polymer

3 grades: premium import, standard domestic, economy type.

Key indexes: absorption rate, AUL & gel strength; low powder loss required.

2.5 Breathable PE Back Film

0.018–0.025mm thickness, waterproof & breathable, pinhole-free, high tensile strength.

2.6 Front Tape & Side Tape

Standard black joint as default; confirm custom joint style with clients in advance.

Stable repeated adhesion, smooth cutting without burrs.

2.7 Elastic Band

High stretch elastic with ≥90% recovery rate, no breakage or weird odor.

2.8 Hot Melt Adhesive
